Destiny may not have won any awards from critics or official awards at Gamescom, but it DID win one prestigious award: The People's Choice Award on IGN. Looks like some people are hyped for September 9th!
Originally sighted on Twitter, it looks like Newsweek will be putting out an "official collector's edition" magazine focused on Destiny. If it's not already at your local grocery/book store, it should be there tomorrow, August 19th (in the US, at least).

The man who's stealing our jobs, Xenos, dropped us a note about TotalXbox.com (a.k.a Official Xbox Magazine)'s talk with Bungie at Gamescom regarding Destiny expansions. Bungie seems to have high ambitions to keep this world living and breathing, from free upgrades to paid-for heaps of content. Go read!
Naturl selexion dropped by our forums to show off something the Vangards would be proud of:
Have access to a 3D printer? You can go to Thingiverse and print off your very own copy. If only you could 3d-print the voice of Peter Dinklage with it, too!
The speedy Cody Miller pointed out an opinion piece at GameInformer regarding Destiny - specifically what the author perceives to be a confusing narrative from the start. It's not a condemning piece - the critique is coming from someone who's actually enjoying the rest of the game and it's short and sweet so give it a gander!
PackLeader89 informed the board that GameStop has begun pre-selling an expansion pass for Destiny which covers The Dark Below (Hive-themed) and House of Wolves (Fallen-focused). I hope they post-sell it, too.
Painted by Mozhart and posted on his DeviantArt, and found through a little site called Reddit. Impressive!
The floodgates are opening. Last Friday we got a look at Mars, now we get a preview of Venus! And SigbiasSilva was first again to point it out.
