Interesting... so the part that is specifically clashing for me is the way this trailer is taking 2 different elements; the official story of Destiny 2, and the "breaking the 4th wall" fun with friends side of the game, and mashing them together by having Cayde become part of those interactions and by having the guardians act silly but with the real emotional investment of characters living in that world. But that mashup works for you? What if the game itself actually did this too?
