It's getting more interesting with regards to choices and how you've spec'd your character.
Turns out that after talking with some friends who have been playing the game, I've been making important choices without even knowing it. This is good. Feels natural.
It's really not obvious. Comparing notes to other people made it dawn on me how insane the branching is.
I've also skipped like 3 boss fights too lol.
I had a supposed boss help me in a fight. This game.
But Deus Ex is still better.
Dunno. Maybe the original if you also throw it a bone because of its age. So far, Cyberpunk has been on par in encounter design and better in "choice matters".
I’d like to finish (and perhaps make different choices first) before I really compare, but it all comes down to the old aesthetics vs mechanics issue.
