who thought this was a good idea?

sorry, i haven't played the game yet. is there a kiosk or something where you can pick up more of your unlocked shaders, or will people have to farm (or buy from eververse, ugh) shaders now to complete a set?

I think it's a good change.with this, but I'm also the resident microtransaction hot take guy. I think making the endgame about personal fashion probably makes a lot of sense.

Making the end game about fashion does make sense. I like that better than making it about uber gear. the problem is that if you upgrade a single item, even though you previously earned a shader for that slot, you now have to go back into the raid or whatever to get another shader for your new item. Why not allow you to remove the shader from an item you put it on and then transfer that shader to another single item?

And repeated shader drops will be less annoying.

Less annoying than D1, when repeated shader drops wasn't a thing that ever happened because once you unlocked a shader they never dropped again and you always had access to that shader? I have no idea what you're referencing as this being "less annoying" than.
