Honestly, how often we look at the default armor color setups?

Once you get a shader, not very often.

I think it's a good way to show off the artists work before the average destiny player barfs their shitty neon pink shaders all over everything.

Hahahahahhahaha you haven't gotten any items with shaders yet, have you? They come with the shader pre-installed now. I'm sure there's a way to preview the default, but I didn't realize the change was permanent so I just "swapped in" the default shader to see what it looked like, and of course it permanently deleted the shader that had come installed on my gun.
