I'm annoyed because I like to swap shaders (Destiny)

I like to wear a different shader outfit depending on who else is in my fireteam. I routinely change shader before any event. And now I can't, not really. I also like to put on a shader, do a few emotes to see how it looks, and then change it again. The preview in game isn't enough for me. Again, I can't do that now. This is a disappointing stain on an otherwise great game.
