Did you not get shaders in Vanilla? I got tired of breaking down the same 5 shaders every other day.

Once you unlocked a shader, it would not longer drop from any "random drops," There are a couple of very minor exceptions, like Chatterwhite from the vault of glass would drop if you didn't already have chatterwhite in your inventory, rather than simply unlocked in the kiosk (i imagine since the kiosk was added after vog).
