I feel like every decision Bungie makes regarding balance is an overreaction, and it always swings too far. People using too many specials in Destiny? Nerf special ammo. Now people are using grenades and abilities to compensate? Let’s increase ability cooldown and decrease damage for Des2ny. Nothing powerful anymore, so everybody teamshots with primaries. So let’s give out more heavy. Now In quickplay it’s a heavy fest. Ok so we buff primaries. Everybody uses V-Wing and Graviton Lance?

It’s just a cycle of overreactions. This will be no different. My advice is to make your balance changes 1/4 as intense as you think. If it’s not enough, slowly inch there.
