Hell yeah! (Gaming)

At least for me, the loop itself is not really that engaging. The reveal didn't explain it too well, but here's what you do: Factions give you contracts, so you go down to a level, and do some destiny patrol equivalent activity. Completing them gives you rewards and faction rep. The contracts are just not super interesting on their own. It's literally on the level of a Destiny patrol. Go to a spot on the map, go to the indicator, hit square. Or kill x number of UESC. Or collect item and extract with it. The imagination on display for these is seriously underwhelming. I don't for a second believe that any of these will have 'raid like' mechanics. Imagine if each time you wiped the first time you did Vault of Glass, you lost all your gear. It's just not happening.

I recognize your review as subjectively negative (and 100% valid)...but...Super minority unpopular opinion here...

You just described the perfect game for me. I feel like I've done a total 180° on this game after seeing more alpha gameplay/reviews.

I'm a 43 year old husband and father, with a super basic 8-5 job. If I'm being "gamer aggressive" I might be able to squeeze in 10 hours a week of gaming (including weekends).

If I'm able to drop into a game, 20 minutes at a time to complete a basic task, with "some" risk of adversity....brother you got me hook, line and sinker!

Stacking multiple contracts like in Destiny? So I can speed run through a full season of content in a day? No thank you.
Drop in by myself, take out a couple bots and sneak out and slowly build my character of a long span of time? I'M IN!

[I feel like after reading this before posting, it seems sarcastic...trust me it's not.]

(Let's see if this boring ass take gets as many views as my drunken rant from 2 weeks ago.)
