I feel the same - and I don't play much at all (Destiny)

Yeah, so... the raid is actually a bottleneck for me.

Most of the Xbox One raid parties I see are either full or running on days I can't play. So I don't have any way to get back into it - so at least 6 quests are actually frozen for me right now. (Plus all the other stuff that's dependent on running raids - ToM, for example).

::shrug:: I guess at some point my schedule will line up with other people's schedules (and a non-full fireteam will be available on that particular day), and I'll finish up... but for the past few weeks, it's been one disappointment after another.

Something I learned from my wife when we moved to a new city is that you gotta take the initiative to make friends in your neighborhood. To this day she's got many more friends in the area than I do, I just tag along like lame-o green salad with her awesome pizza. :)

The Destiny/DBO equivalent is to take the initiative and, 4-5 days ahead of time, schedule a FTB for a time that works for you. If you build it, they will (probably) come.
