Something I learned from my wife when we moved to a new city is that you gotta take the initiative to make friends in your neighborhood. To this day she's got many more friends in the area than I do, I just tag along like lame-o green salad with her awesome pizza. :)

My wife (who moved here when she was 14) has way more friends than I do and I've lived here my whole damn life :p

My wife shares her friends with me. No, that doesn't sound horrible.
