Go read! (It's local, too.)
As we mentioned yesterday, Bungie's DestinyTheGame.com has been updated with lots of new looks, lore tidbits, and audio cues. Bluerunner let us know that Fuzzle_hc has posted direct links to all the new resources the site uses in one convenient place on Destiny's subreddit, if you want to grab copies for yourself!
Bungie has dolled up the new home on the interwebs for all things Destiny, as DestinyTheGame is now live, updated, and looking downright gorgeous. Take some time to go and explore, and further whet your appetite for Bungie's brave new world! Xenos has started a discussion on our forums about it if you want like-minded folks to gush with. Check it out!
Yesterday's Bungie Weekly Update was a doozy - no real details, but they're in bug-squashing mode, which is exciting! (There are pictures. Not of bugs, you sicko.) There are also more pics of the Fallen Captain cake that Dave Candland received a few days ago. And some great questions and answers in the Mailsack. What are you waiting for? (We have a copy here, too, of course.)
The Bungie Weekly Update is live, with a first-hand account by DeeJ of how deliciously the Destiny experience is coming along. Take in some tantalizing impressions and stick around for a few juicy tidbits in the Mail Sack, giving some solid indications on the nature of PvP and why you'll want to experience what each flavor of Guardian has to offer. (Don't forget, there's always a local version, too.)
This week's Bungie Update is live now - it contains some reassurances, some answers that you may or may not appreciate, and a new screenshot. You might even learn something about a reveal you thought you understood. You can read it on Bungie.net (thanks, Xenos), or here on DBO, in our Weekly Update Archive. Check it out!
Bungie's community team visited Europe this week - but they almost didn't make it. Go read the trials and tribulations in the latest Bungie Weekly Update! (It's in our Weekly Update Archive, as well, if you need it for any reason.) Thanks, Xenos.

Bungie has posted their latest Weekly Update - and it's absolutely worth a read. There are intriguing little hints, both in the main writeup and in the answers to the Mail Sack questions... but there's also a fantastic look back at the recent Bungie Pentathlon. Go read. (It's in our Weekly Update Archive, as well, if you need that.) Thanks, Xenos.
If you swing by Bungie.net and read the latest Bungie Weekly Update, you'll realize a new group of people were in the studio this week, tasting the fruit of the Destiny vine - should we expect another round of articles soon? (There are also many, many fan-asked questions that get answers, some substantial, some not so much, all fun to read.) Go on by - or read our local version, if you prefer. Either way... read. Thanks, GrimBrother IV.
DeeJ stopped by to announce a new Bungie Weekly Update - it's exciting. As he says, it's the best one in weeks! (That's funny because there hasn't been one in weeks. Geddit?) Go read it. It'll remind you how to get into the Beta program, and it'll teach you a little bit about The Director. And some other stuff.) As always, you can read (and search) it locally, as well as on B.net.
No news today, but there is always tomorrow...right?
Today's Bungie Weekly Update focuses on a halloween costume that involves a gorgeous modeled Thorn (unlike the one created by Karin Olava, this one was actually 3D-printed from in-game assets - one of the benefits of working at Bungie)... and it has some interesting fan questions (with some squirrely answers) in the week's mail sack. If you'd rather, you can read it in our Weekly Update Archive. Go appreciate it! And appreciate Xenos, who keeps on top of all of this stuff.
In keeping with standard Friday traditions, Bungie has posted the latest Bungie Weekly Update - it reiterates the newly-announced release date, it reminds people of the latest issue of Game Informer (chock-full of Destiny info), and it answers some useful questions. It even provides the audio for a flaming bung-hole. (That might not be as dirty as it sounds.) Go give it a read: either on Bungie.net or in our own Weekly Update Archive!
Just as DeeJ, Urk, and the rest of the Bungie away team returns home from overseas, so to does the Bungie Weekly Update! After a brief recap of their jet-setting adventures, we get one last look at the Moon before that destination goes dark, with specific focus on the Accelerator environment we saw in the original Grognok demo and more recently heard about on last week's podcast. The Halloween pumpkin carving entires get some love, too, and even a couple Mail Sack questions get answered!
And, of course, the update is available in our local archive should you wish to read it over here.
Is the hunt for Destiny Beta codes driving you out of your gourd? Rest easy, Ichabod, for Bungie is getting into the Halloween spirit with a contest that will turn pumpkins into prizes. Don't wait until midnight - contest finalists will be chosen Sunday, so head over to Bungie.net for the rules post-haste! (Thanks, Xenos.)
