Destiny Dev Team Details Variable Weather on Europa

Here's a cool tidbit: Destiny 2 Beyond Light is getting some cool new weather systems to help Europa feel more dangerous and atmospheric. Weather conditions are now scriptable, and can affect things like fog, wind, and snow. They can also increase otherwise dormant environmental noises like buildings groaning under the weight of ice buildup. To read more, head on over to Bungie's 100% Chance of Snow article. 

It'll be interesting to see if this scriptable weather comes to existing locations like the EDZ, or to the newly revived Cosmodrome that we're getting with Beyond Light. 

The Week of Warmind, Part 2 (Sweet Business)

Bungie is continuing to showcase new changes to existing Exotic weapons - and today's entry is mouthwatering! Sweet Business seems to have nearly doubled its ammo reserves... and with armor that helps with reloading (like, say, Lunafaction Boots), it might be the weapon you need when you hate to stop firing!

With a massive increase in ammo reserves, Business is good.

An Armory to Drool Over

reddit/imgur user tsabotsaboc posted a gallery of images of Destiny weapons he's either created or helped to create. They're glorious! The reddit thread is pretty interesting reading, in itself; there's even a YouTube channel containing things like this time-lapse video showing the making of his Thorn hand cannon and a video demonstrating the effects on his Destiny swords. Festival of the Lost!

Halloween is in full swing at the Tower! Log in to Destiny, grab a mask, get a candy bag and get questing! While there's a few new cosmetic microtransactions if you're interested, there's still plenty to do and see for free! Weekly Update: King's Fall and Xur

Bungie Weekly Update 4.30.15

The Bungie Weekly Update recaps the Trials of Osiris reveal and highlights some of the Crucible tweaks and changes players can expect after downloading the 1.2.0 update on May 19th. Players who did not purchase The Dark Below will have access to all three PVP maps - neat! Also, be sure to check out how you provide aid to the people of Nepal though the Bungie Foundation. Bungie Weekly Update - Reef Madness

The Bungie Weekly Update is live and is chock full of House of Wolves information. There’s a concise summary of what Bungie presented during the live-stream of the Reef (the stream is also archived). Imagining an Exotic

Community member and treasured artist, TDSpiral, took a stab at imagining an Exotic handcannon called "The Serpent" created originally by a fan on Reddit. The results were awesome, and while I picked my favorite to highlight here, he's got a wallop of variations to gaze at.

Bungie Spookly Update - October 31, 2014

The Halloween edition of the Bungie Weekly Update has been posted, and DeeJ covers some questions I'm sure a lot of us had about the Dark Below (like the fact that we'll all get 5 additional Bounty slots, even if we don't buy the expansion). And of course an update from the DOC covering the Monkey errors popping up after the recent update. Happy Halloween! (Here, too.)

Newsweek Special Edition

Originally sighted on Twitter, it looks like Newsweek will be putting out an "official collector's edition" magazine focused on Destiny. If it's not already at your local grocery/book store, it should be there tomorrow, August 19th (in the US, at least).

IGN Tours the Tower with Urk

IGN has a new video up of a walking tour of the Tower given by urk.
