Crota Timer Makes Raiding Easier

Man Up Time, a small development studio founded by old-school Bungie fan (and staffer) Bruce Morrison, has released an iPhone app called 'Crota Timer'. It's free, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do - it makes it simple to figure out when Crota moves. Go grab a copy!

Upgrade Your Armor In Real Life

SigbiasSilva drew our attention to the new gear available at the Bungie Store. Some lovely stuff in there and plenty of excuses to get a little poorer! Now I wonder if the Bungie Store has its own Cryptarch?

We love you guys.

As the last year without Destiny comes to a close, we here at DBO would like to wish you all a very happy holiday season, and more specifically a merry Christmas tomorrow. Bungie's holiday card does a great job of summing up our excitement for the coming adventures!

Here, There, and Everywhere

A few days ago, Bungie rolled out a new update for their Mobile App. Android users have already been hit with it (you now have access to Bungie.Net Forums and Groups), while iOS users will be getting another upgrade soon. Bungie Mobile keeps slowly building - what will it be like when Destiny finally hits?

Personally, I'm imagining Guardians taking selfies in their bathrooms and throwing instagram filters on their photos of the Venus Gardens...but I think I might be wrong.

When you fish upon the stars

When Hedge is excited, the birds fly lighter, the tides rise higher, the chocolate tastes sweeter, the kiss lasts longer, the love grows stronger. When Hedge is excited, we are excited.

Secrets of the bungie mobile app

Bungie Mobile App users were recently greeted with a bug fix update for Android and iOS devices - some users discovered that they now had the ability to read and post on the forums directly from the app. According to DeeJ, a small group of frequent forum users have been granted access to the test version of the mobile forums. Don't worry, the update will continue to rollout to more users, eventually. Thanks, Xenos.

I'm pretty sure it's all a Shakespeare ripoff.

GenGame is unhappy that Destiny is just a retread of Halo, which was a retread of Marathon. (That, at least, is the premise of the opinion piece.) Geez, Bungie - couldn't you have come up with a more original story?
