I'm fine with humour... this just isn't funny, IMO.
It's one thing to have Cayde crack jokes while standing around in the tower, but having him get drunk in a bar mid-battle while the last city on earth is falling is just lame, IMO.
Is it mid-battle? Is he getting drunk? Man, you guys are wound tight.[lets loose Caydesque heavy sigh]
Well, it very clearly is mid-battle, right? Hense the gunfire and explosions :)
I'm not wound up about it, I just think what Destiny needs even more than humour is strong world-building, and a teaser that treats the destruction of the last city as a joke is moving in the opposite direction. Yes, it's just a teaser, but a teaser like this has months of thought put into it. I just hope it isn't representative of the tone of the game, that's all :)
