I loved these. They were so great. I feel this teaser is in line w/ that sort of humor.
The big difference to me (and I'm not sure why it hits me so hard) is those live-action trailers were an approximation of me playing the game with my friends. But this trailer is featuring Cayde, a major character in the Destiny universe, and is taking place during an actual catastrophic event in Destiny 2's story. That just doesn't sit well with me [shrug]
A character where all of his actions are totally in line with how Bungie has built him up over 3 years. He doesn't ask for permission. He steals when necessary and avoid apologizing for his own errors. He is afraid of Eris, and nothing else. Him stopping for a drink during a lull in combat seems pretty spot on to character.
