Cruel and I are peas in a pod on this one.
It didn't strike me well at all. Cayde being irreverent but always knowing what really matters and when to throw down has been the impression I've been given of his character all along. It actually almost seems out of character to me, because as far as we know, what's left of true humanity (being that Guardians are no longer human) is apparently in the process of being ground into paste under Cabal treads. And he's stopping for a drink.
But he's supposed to be the guy with scouts. He's supposed to know the secrets, or at least some of them, and always have his ear to the ground, right?
But hey, good time to knock one back. Why is everyone so grumpy? A guy has one drink...
