Last weekend Red Bull hosted a Rift Exhibition with some popular members of the Destiny community. Team Flamesword faced off against Team TripleWreck in a best of 7 competition. DeeJ and Lars were also on site to commentate. If you haven't had a chance to see a full match of Rift, especially with great Destiny players, give it a watch:
(Thanks to iconicbanana for reminding me on the forums)
moreuse on YouTube took some time to smell the roses - and watch the clouds roll in. And film it all so you could enjoy it, too. Beautiful! Thanks, iconicbanana.
If you haven't seen this video yet, you should watch it right now. Micah Bell and friends created 'What If...?' - a series of ideas for UI improvements in Destiny. The twist? They actually whipped up the graphics to show how their changes would look in-game. Some of the ideas are good, and some are great... but the presentation is FANTASTIC. Go watch. (Faction Wars? Brilliant.)
Community member Tex is raising money for Extra Life as she streams gameplay including that of Destiny, Halo, and maybe more. She's even giving away an Elgato HD game recorder, and all you have to do is donate. Read here for the details, and go give some high charity!
The Destiny Facebook page has a new gallery of some of the cosplay and other excitement that's appeared outside Bungie's studios at today's community event, including a huge Fallen Skiff that's been built on site. So, uh, who gets to take that home? UPDATE: The gallery has been updated with a few more photos and some guy named Claude Errera (I think I know that name from a club I went to once) dropped by a few more pics of the Skiff.
Hmmm, there's something oddly familiar about this "Galactic Sniper" minifig by Brick Affiliation. (Nice find, Hedge.)

Watch your fingers and definitely count your toes before playing with this Hunter knife Dietkrispy put together. (Yet another Hedgem0ny find.)
DeeJ put the spotlight on the Destiny Community's Extra Life campaign, taking a quick moment to ask Mark of Guardian Radio for the details. Check out the article at Bungie.net, but above all else make sure to stop by the Extra Life page to see how you can help raise money for a worthy cause!
