"Every Ghost seeks out its Guardian among the ancient dead." The implications of this is huge! It actually makes the ability to revive a fallen Guardian fit better into the lore of the game, which I can't wait to dig into further.

Awesome! I woner if this is BUNGiE's way of saying that we really are our guardians. That we are the ancient dead that get revived.

It also could mean that the darkness actually did wipe out humanity completely. No one survived.

That doesn't jive with the narrative we've heard so far--"very few of us survived, and those that did owe their lives to the Traveler."
