Deej mentioned on the forums that it is actually the other way around. The reason Bungie has been showing stuff with Sony so much is not because Bungie has been asking for that attention, but because Sony has been inviting Bungie. I don't know why Microsoft hasn't been inviting Bungie, but Bungie is definitely not going out of their way to show favoritism.
