A mandatory camera/mic connected to a mandatory internet connection that ships with a privacy policy to reassure users is not coming in my house. Why would anyone willingly do that?

I would do it because I simply can't find anything of real harm to me being done through it. Of course, I obviously do not prize my privacy as much as most of you.

I'd like to know why, though. Why do you place your own privacy with that high of a value? I'm honestly curious. If anyone else could also chip in, I'd appreciate it too.
