You need Legendary and exotic after 24. You won't get those at the cave.

I don't mean to argue too much, but yes you can. You can find plenty of video evidence of that online. Probably not Exotics though, but once I am to the point of pursuing Exotics I doubt I will be using the Cave anymore. After I can just buy Legionaries, then I imagine that will be much faster that using the Cave.
