If you're holding up Reach as an example where people seemed hypocritical about spoilers, I find that silly. Many of us knew Reach got glassed before the first Halo game was released. A part of the challenge of telling that story was that the drama was in the small events, not the big ones. Same with SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.
It's another kettle of fish for Bungie to start spoiling aspects of the raid, an activity many players like to go into blind--a condition Bungie heretofore encouraged.
Disclosure: I haven't seen the vidoc but I'll take breitzen's word.
