YAY (Gaming)

Heh, that's how I've always found myself playing Bethesda games.

I think Morrowind was the only one I did the main quest in pretty much immediately, just because it fascinated me. I loved how deep and involved it was; I loved convincing all the clans you were the Nerevarine and meeting the last Dwarf.

I think it was nearly 40 hours before I even touched the main quest in Skyrim, though. I made it to Whiterun, then just picked a direction and started walking. There's a giant camp pretty close to Whiterun that I ran into almost immediately and repeatedly got destroyed there.

I guess we'll see how the quest in Fallout 4 grabs me, and that'll determine the direction I take in it, but I imagine there'll be a lot of random exploration either way. I'm obsessed with marking everything on the map, even if I don't explore it at the time of discovery (which often backfires as things I haven't explored yet get forgotten because it's just another of many locations on the map).
