Yesterday, Bungie gave us a heads up about this week's Hotfix, aimed to help reverse some of the changes to content access that came with Curse of Osiris. For those who haven't purchased Destiny 2's first expansion, fear not, as you'll have access to Trials and the Prestige Mode raid soon enough (Bungie is even postponing Faction Rally until everyone has access to it)!
As if you needed another reason to get the Praise The Light emote, a fireteam of Sunsingers (consisting of Buz Lightbeeer, TheGreatNike, Gladd, rowan, Snerv, and ITI) has defeated the final Wrath of the Machine encounter without firing a single shot (other than the required Cannon shots).
Gladd has a detailed guide on his Reddit post, but I think I'll settle with watching their incredible footage of the event.
Betcha can't stick it... anymore. The June update is live, removing the ability to stick Tripmines to enemies (they've clearly learned to lather themselves with oil). Don't despair too much about this and other nerfs, because Hunters (and the other classes) have also seen a number of PvE buffs to help with the Orb-making. And you'll need those buffs, because a few of your favorite weapons have received some balance tweaks as well.
It's a minor one, but the greatly-anticipated Hotfix for melee attacks (discussed in last week's TWAB post) is Live now. Notes are available over on Bnet (and locally), if you're curious about a couple of other fixes included in the patch.
What's Nightfall and Nightstalker have in common? They're the main focus of today's hot fix from Bungie! The extra shots given by Nightstalker's Quiver option have been disabled until a true fix can be created. As well, the Nightfall rewards have been adjusted for this week and the forseeable future. There's also some notes about the King's Fall Hard Mode and its own rewards so give it a look! (Local copy here.)
Bungie released a small Hot Fix today, bringing the version to 2.0.0.5. No big changes, but it did fix two issues that were plaguing players since the last hot fix. See the changes at Bungie.net or in our local update section.
CruelLEGACEY has taken advantage of a split-second delay that occurs after exiting the menu wherein your HUD has yet to appear to capture some screenshots of the Vault of Glass. There's some neat shots in his gallery and it's just plain refreshing to see screens without distractions. Here's to a Theater mode in Destiny 2!
We weren't expecting it until tomorrow, but the new Destiny Hot Fix landed today, bringing the current version to 1.1.0.3. Lots of fixes for the most notable exploits in the Crota's End raid, as well as some Crucible adjustments ahead of this week's Iron Banner event. Despite the Crota fixes, it seems that some glitches are still exploitable—for the time being, at least. (Thanks, CougRon).
Bungie just dropped some patch notes on the latest hotfix. Pocket Infinity has been tuned up again and the first level of The Dark Below has been added back into the Director, yay! A few more tidbits in the link.
That's it for me tonight - see you on the Moon tomorrow!
The Destiny Dev Team posted the patch notes for the Destiny update going live tomorrow on Bungie.Net. This one's major adjustments are weapon balance, with the shotgun losing range and the auto rifle losing a few nuances of effectiveness (which hopefully leads towards some more weapon variety in matches!), but there's more fixes in there, too. Update: It's now in our patch notes archive.
... is now in our handy dandy Patch Note Archive. Lots of bug fixes!
Bungie.Org's long lost cousin Hedgem0ny had screenshot and panorama blogs for Bungie's Halo 3, ODST, and Reach. Now he's doing it again for Destiny. Go take a look, he's always good at pointing out beautiful details that you might have missed in the heat of battle.
Bungie pushed through a little patch the other day. Most of it is invisible stuff, fixes for behind the scenes, but the relevant change for players is that public events are now occuring twice as much! (Thanks, Yapok)
XBox Achievements has posted a slew of new screenshots that, as they note, installs a desire for a walk-in closet to horde all the tantalizing Guardian outfits coming our way. There's an Imgur gallery of the same screens, un-watermarked here. Update: All of these images - and many, many more - are available directly from Activision as part of their Gamescom Press Kit.
One of the things we came home with after E3 was a T-shirt stash... and we want to share it with you. Bungie had a life-size Sparrow on display in the lobby of the LA Convention Center, and folks were able to take pictures riding it. mastrbiggy likes to see me humiliated, so he's come up with the following contest: Photoshop the image above (click for full-size), post the result (and your T-shirt size) on our forum, and you could win a show-specific Destiny T. (It's the same design as this Tricorn Baseball shirt, except that the shirt is grey, the design is white, and the sleeves are short.)
As we mentioned yesterday, Bungie's DestinyTheGame.com has been updated with lots of new looks, lore tidbits, and audio cues. Bluerunner let us know that Fuzzle_hc has posted direct links to all the new resources the site uses in one convenient place on Destiny's subreddit, if you want to grab copies for yourself!
A happy Easter if it suits you, and if not, at least you have a beautiful new in-game screenshot of Destiny to daydream about:

Just a quick heads-up that we've posted a local copy of our photos from the "Ghosts in the Machine" concept art gallery that opened on Thursday in Seattle.
The folks over at VG24/7 got their hands on some new Destiny screenshots to share with those of us that couldn't make it to Gamescom. These images cover the same areas we saw back at E3, but each one offers a gorgeous view of this beautiful game; that water looks amazing! (The VG24/7 article also has a Destiny fact sheet, but all of the info contained within has been previously released in some form.)
Does Noble Six believe in Space Magic? Would the Council of Elrond set their differences aside to select a Fireteam of the Ring? How do you distinguish between Tiger Man and a Kilrathi warrior? Ponder these questions as you gaze upon the finalists in the "Who's playing Destiny?" photoshop challenge from last week's Mail Sack, then head over to this Facebook gallery to vote on your favorite. Just remember: Bungie is trying to counter trolls for a reason.
Voting has opened up for the Destiny Movie Poster contest that started with last week's mail sack. Head over to this gallery on the Bungie Facebook page and cast your vote with a "Like" on the image of your choosing. Be sure to revisit the contest thread if you'd like to see all of the entries!
Mid7night was been recording his week at E3 and has posted some videos and images for all of us to be jealous of check out!
Additionally, if you haven't been following the Vanguard Report, be sure to hop over there to see some E3 photos from the DBO crew.
Be sure to check out both!
