Somehow this got lost in the weekend shuffle, but the Destiny Dispatch crew finally released their fan fiction collection "Become Legend" for download. The eBook is packed with 21 community-written stories interspersed with some awesome fan art from a few names you might be familiar with. Destiny Updates published a video that covers the January Bungie podcast - he breaks down all the competitive multiplayer info that was divulged in the podcast and provides some really interesting insight into what he thinks all this means. Check it out!

Plotting and Scheming

Friday is yet again upon us. I know this because another Bungie Weekly Update has landed! It's a semi-quiet post this week filled with more vague promises and teases that we all love. We also get an interview with Brandon Lewis, Bungie newcomer and the latest Weekend Champion, as well as a tantalizing snapshot of Bungie's caffeine dispensary. (Don't forget, you can read it locally, as well.)

A Traveler For the Taking

CraftingGeek strikes again with another Destiny-themed stitching creation. As announced on her Twitter feed, a  follow-and-retweet will get you a chance to win this framed Traveler stitch. Winners will be selected on January 31st. 

John Favaro: Dinosaur, Ninja Turtle, Bungie Superhero

As a Production Engineer at Bungie, John Favaro jumps at the opportunity to remove the metaphorical roadblocks that sometimes pop up in the course of game development, clearing the way for his fellow Bungie employees to get more work done. If the can-do attitude he exhibits in DeeJ's latest Breaking In article is any indication, John would probably take a shot at moving literal roadblocks as well - if it didn't expose his secret identity, of course.

The new Bungie Podcast is out and is well worth your auditory investment, as Deej, Urk, and Halcylon talk holiday breaks, winter builds, Deej's memorial, and side-stepping supers with special guests Tyson Green and Lars Bakken, who specialize in making a game you'll want to fall in love with over and over again. It's an awesome listen, so go download it already!
