The Motley Fool thinks Bobby Kotick's recent claim that Destiny will "become the best-selling new video game IP in history" might be a bit overblown. Go read their analysis of the situation!
roland let us know that the latest episode of Guardian Radio is ready for download:

Despite the presence of a DMR, this piece of fan art by ario117 screams "Destiny". Click here for the full-size image, or view it over at the artist's (arguably NSFW) tumblr page. (Nice find, Hedgemony.)
Fireteam Grisly is a fan fiction comic put together by the creative crew of HDDispatch; DestinyAuthor stopped by our forum to let us know that they just released the first page of this project out into the wild. Check it out!
If Activision's August earnings call wasn't enough to convince you, CEO Bobby Kotick has a lot of confidence in Bungie's new game. Joystiq reports that the company expects "Destiny [to] become the best-selling new video game IP in history." No pressure, Bungie!

What happens at PAX, stays online forever...

Get the full story on this project (and where to find it) over at HDDispatch. (Thanks for the reminder, Hedge!)
Hot on the heels of Thursday's wallpaper, Firestream has posted another piece from his "Relics of Destiny" project. That headdress would be a great piece of gear to find in a loot drop!
If you swing by Bungie.net and read the latest Bungie Weekly Update, you'll realize a new group of people were in the studio this week, tasting the fruit of the Destiny vine - should we expect another round of articles soon? (There are also many, many fan-asked questions that get answers, some substantial, some not so much, all fun to read.) Go on by - or read our local version, if you prefer. Either way... read. Thanks, GrimBrother IV.
"Relics of Destiny" by expert wallpaper artist Firestream. This image was created for Destiny Dispatch's "Become Legend" fan fiction ebook, but it sounds like Firestream enjoyed the concept enough that there are more pieces like this on the way. Fantastic!
Guardian Radio gets a new episode... and a new format. You can listen to it as usual from their website - or you can watch it on YouTube. (That opening is... impressive.) Even with no major reveals this week, they still found 90 minutes of content to discuss. Go listen! (Thanks, roland, for the heads-up.)
Remember that awesome Exo Titan sketch by Deviant Art user MrSpanners? Now there's a Hunter to match. (Naturally, Hedgemony was the first to point this out.)

As a Production Engineer at Bungie, John Favaro jumps at the opportunity to remove the metaphorical roadblocks that sometimes pop up in the course of game development, clearing the way for his fellow Bungie employees to get more work done. If the can-do attitude he exhibits in DeeJ's latest Breaking In article is any indication, John would probably take a shot at moving literal roadblocks as well - if it didn't expose his secret identity, of course.
In the latest episode of Guardian Radio, the guys over at Guardians of Destiny (and guest DearBungie) break down Bungie's January podcast, discuss the most recent BWU, drool over some Destiny screenshots, and answer reader questions. Tune in! (Thanks, roland.)
Check out this fan art from DeviantARTist Grzegorzpedrycz. Beautiful!

Sometimes, less is more. DestinyOverwatch makes a compelling argument for simplicity with this charming piece of fanart posted on his Twitter page.
You know an Exo Titan means business when he carries two katana AND a bayonet. Head over to Deviant Art to view the uncropped version of "Destiny Exo OC" by MrSpanners. (Nice find, Hedgemony.)
