If you didn't see the trailer/vidoc from Game Informer yesterday, you can catch it from us now, too, in our Video Library. Then go and join in on the thread analyzing all the little details shown off!
GameInformer just unleashed a pretty tasty glimpse at The Dark Below in a video with Jason Jones, Lars Bakken, M. E. Chung, Ryan Ellis, Luke Smith... okay, half of Bungie apparently. There's a lot crammed into those four minutes! Go watch the video here.
I missed this originally, but Bungie posted the cinematic trailer for Destiny's first expansion: The Dark Below (it had been discovered in the 1.0.3 patch update, but now Bungie has officially published it). Narrated by the new Tower character, Eris, the prologue sets the stage for December 9th. Can't wait!
A few Destiny-related pieces by DarkMechanic, from his DeviantArt gallery. Beautiful.

General Vagueness and Mid7night showed the forum a pretty adorable video of a cat hunting the Destiny cursor.
The poor monitor!
Louis Wu's real-life avatar let drop on the forum that Activision and Bungie are releasing Destiny as a trial/demo install on all consoles. The cool thing is that you get to keep your characters if you end up buying it - pretty neat! Read the Activision Blog for all the details and check out Bunge's FAQ on the matter.
Narcogen brings Rampancy to the Vex's shrine-out-of-time, and the last story mission (so far) of Destiny. Go watch the Darkness fall!
Bungie is back with a revised Iron Banner. You can read the gist at Bungie.Net, which will guide you through what numbers count in Saladin's playdate and what rewards are possible. Beorn pointed out on our forum that the Tempered buff activates immediately when you purchase it - it isn't an item you choose to activate.
Bungie's also streaming their gameplay starting at 11:00 AM Pacific, so go watch that if you can't partake just yet.
After The Last Word was Xurred last weekend, iconicbanana showed us a fan-made prop he found through Reddit, created by Sloan. There's some shots of a few custom Ghosts in the maker's blog post, too!
The new update is rolling out soon and the specifics are already laid down at Bungie.Net. The patch notes just keep going; there's fixes and improvements for basically every aspect of the game - even the Orbit screens! I was going to highlight the big announcements like Fireteam Voice Chat, but there's just too many neat little things, like shader previews and more. Go read and enjoy some self-edification! Kidtsunami was first to talk about it on our forum.
If you take a gander at the art book's Amazon page, you'll notice that its release date has been delayed until Feb 10th, 2015. Shucks! Off the Christmas list and onto the birthday list...
We near the end of Rampancy's Let's Play coverage of Destiny's story missions. This time around we have "A Rising Tide" on display!
You aren't going crazy, the Bungie Weekly Thursdate Update came out on a Thursday this week! Expect the Update Thupdate every Thursday from here on out! Curious about Bungie's future plans for Iron Banner? Wondering how voice chat will work in matchmaking? Well you're in luck! Go read and find out more! (And wonder at the surprise coming next week).
Can't play Destiny due to the maintenance? Just watch it instead! Rampancy flies their Let's Play series into the thick of Mars with "The Buried City" mission.
As usual, roland stopped by the forum to inform us that the latest episode of Guardian Radio has been posted on their site! This week they had Rob Adams, an Environment Artist at Bungie, visit the show. Great listen!
Bungie posted a note today letting everyone know that Destiny will be offline (and unplayable) for a couple of hours on Thursday morning for maintenance and patch preparation. Adjust your schedules accordingly!
Hedgem0ny tweeted an Exo cosplay by redner that's very impressive. Check out his DeviantArt for a few more shots!
Oh, right - DBO. Oops! Anyways, Quirel dropped by the forums a few days ago to point out all the new images at Isaac Hannaford's blog. Mostly more weapon variations, but interesting nonetheless.
And then there's this image... FotC droids scouting Mars? Cut content or an idea still in the barrel? Hmm....
Firestream rolled out a new app on Apple products and Androids that tracks your stats, showcases daily bounties and more in one organized space, y'know, if you need a companion to your Companion.
Black Six is keeping us in the loop with Isaac Hannaford's blog, which was updated with a new look at the FOTC Hawk Dropship (which apparently had an interior created for it - now when do we get to see that?).
There's a new YouTube video making the rounds this morning showing how to ride your Sparrow while doing a regular non-vehicle emote. The most showy, by far, is dancing, which lets you ride the Sparrow like a surfboard. Go catch a dune! (Thanks to Anton P. Nym for a heads-up in the forum).
Black Six let us know that Isaac Hannaford updated his blog with a couple of Destiny gun concept compilations, mostly silhouette work but interesting nonetheless!
Narcogen continues his Let's Play series with the first mission to Mars and the introduction of the Cabal!
Ack! Looks like we've been lax on news delivery recently... sorry about that. Here, have a 3D printable Thunderlord posted by D3DP on reddit last week!
